One thing Playtonic had talked about was eventually have two separate teams, working on two separate projects, possibly releasing in opposite years, so they'd have a new game out every year.
It looks like The current top stretch goal of 1 million will be reached very soon (Possibly in within the first day?) They could add more stretch goals, but wouldn't they reach a point where they wouldn't want to do anymore with the game? They'd said they only want a small group of around 15 people working on it, as a small group is more versatile, and each member is free to experiment more, and iterate quickly to something the rest of the group can agree on. There's only so much you could do without expanding the team (Which they are very much against doing) or delaying the game.
Assuming this kickstarter goes above and beyond what Playtonic was hoping for, as in many times more than they originally wanted (Which it looks like it just might.
) Would you be open to a stretch goal along the lines of "Get a second team to start working on Playtonic's second game"?
It would give us something to look forward to, if we knew we wouldn't have to wait too long after Yooka-Laylee for the second game.
