You know what else is amazing?
The involvement the team has had with the community, their reading emails, answering questions or comments, and using twitter extensively. Getting to watch the process (especially with guys that have so much fun with it!) is a great experience you don't get with many other games.

I also appreciate their regular posts to Facebook and Twitter. The small sporadic leaks of information really help manage the pain of waiting.

A bit of which is probably my fault for checking the forum, reddits, facebook page and twitter every ten minutes.

I'm actually grateful this game exists!

After Rare was sold to Microsoft I had some sort of depression that I wouldn't get to play another Banjo-kazooie game.

Its been 15 years struggling with that thought daily (I'm not kidding I've been actually thinking about BK all this time) playing other games that do no feel the same.

So for me Yooka-Laylee is an opportunity to finally have closure with BK, embrace the Playtonic IPs and have fun again with their amazing creativity!

So far so good now I think about Yooka-Laylee daily hahaha and I'm so happy the Kickstarter is collecting crazy amounts of money because that will help shape the game in a better way and give us Playtonic for a long run!!

I pretty much love everything about it. I'm usually pretty pessimistic on Kickstarter funded games (because I got burned by one) and pick and choose what I fund extremely carefully, but after reading through the Yooka-Laylee kickstarter (more or less as soon as it launched, I was watching the timer on the site) I dropped down for a copy. And then when it seemed like a sure thing, I upped my pledge to £90.

I'm fond of the music (both tracks) especially, and the art direction. Has a bit of nostalgia to it, I suppose, but there's also something very fresh feeling.

What the hell I thought I replied in here!

Thanks and congrats, Playtonics, on showing how spiritual successors are made.

I'm really liking how they're not sending one or two team members to double as PR faces like Mighty No. 9 did; interviews and such have been spread out across at least Mayles, Sutherland, Price, and Hurst off the top of my head.

I appreciate Grant Kirkhopes musical style in this game. I have no doubt he and David Wise's music will make this game fantastic!

Grant was getting some grief on Twitter again today :(

Give him some love guys! :D
