Should Laylee be able to transform into a Transylvanian?

Postby CHAINMAILLEKID » Thu May 07, 2015 1:26 am

Transformations are a key part of what makes B&K games so zany and wacky.

Playtonic mentioned choosing a bat and a chameleon for their natural abilities that would translate into gameplay. I think this has the potential to fulfill those requirements.

Bats can't transform into vampires outside of fiction; it's not a natural ability. I think it'd be too odd and doesn't offer enough unique abilities. For example, blood sucking could be achieved without transforming into a vampire -- some bats do drink blood in the real world.

Maybe it would be funny that Laylee dreams about being a vampire, bragging about his bloodline. But actually he is not :(

Wtf do you mean by Transylvanian? You do realize Transylvania is a historical region in Romania? So by definition every person living in that region is a Transylvanian.. Why would you want to transform into a Romanian anyway?

Yeah, "sure". And it's revealed that Laylee is somehow related to Count Conkula from Conker's Bad Fur Day/Live & Reloaded...

If our leads are going to transform into any Transylvanians, please can they be the Cheeky Girls?

I wouldn't mind it if one of the worlds had a "spooky" theme and instead of Yooka transforming in that world maybe Laylee could instead transform into a cute chibi vampire girl.

They're probably going to stick to animals and potentially appliances.
But I'm never against a surprise.
