Collectible Coins/Notes with different notes

From the game-play footage, all the play/note icons play the same note and look the same.
It would be cool if when you got five notes in a row they all had a different note, and played a little tune.
The tiny tunes could be inline with the level, and could open room for Easter eggs, like being reminiscent of classic songs, or if you got all tunes in a specific order for that level you could unlock an Easter egg.
Playing the same note constantly just feels like a lost opportunity, and a bit boring.
Also, i get that note icons would be a little too BK, but the play icon doesnt look that good, and feels a little out of place. Going with the different notes thing, you could have the icon sort of represent the note that will be played.

Btw, i'm beyond excited for this! Keep it up

I think this is a pretty obvious idea but thought I'd share it any way. When participating in the 'arcade' sections of the game the music should change to 8 bit such as:

8-bit would be fine, but I'd love if the music near the arcade machine reflected the different eras of Rare's "golden age". By that, I mean a 8-bit tune in one world, a 16-bit (à la DKC) tune in another, then N64-like (though if the implement a N64 filter on the music it might be a little useless ^^"). Anyway, that's just an idea

I would love it if in this brave new world of Nintendo letting their characters be in other games (See the new Skylanders/amiibo promotion) that Yoshi makes an appearance in the Wii U version of Y-L!

Yooka and Laylee turn into mecha versions of themselves for a hidden beat-em-up section of the game that the ESRB looked over (which is why the game didn't get a 15 for strong violence)

I have one other suggestion that would be a nice touch for Yooka-Laylee if it ends up being implemented. In Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie, every time you die in the game you get to see a silhouette of Grunty's face, laughing at your failure as the screen fades to black. Well, I would also like to see that in Yooka-Laylee by having the main villain(s) of that game doing the same when you die in the game.

Two Words:

Pagie Spectrum. Colour-coding pagies to show which world's skills you'll need to grab them. Makes it easier for completionists to not get bogged down fishing for Pagies they can't collect.
For example:
Green Pagies: By the time you've filled out the Jungle World moveset, you can get to these Pagies.
Blue Pagies: The Pagies representing the Ice World. If you see these pagies in the Jungle world, then you know it needs Ice World moves to reach it. At least as intended.

And so on through each colour. With that said, there's... quite vaguely "More than five" worlds(you cheeky developers, we know that means six :P), but 7 colours of the rainbow. I was thinking the remaining space could be filled with Transformation Pagies - so I don't spend twenty minutes trying to reach a pagie only... iunno, Yooka can reach. Or, you could use White/Black/Brown pagies to fill out the roster, if it really IS more than 5 worlds.
