David Wise uploaded the jungle challenge tune on bandcamp! It sounds a bit diffrent from the version in the kickstarter. He also uploaded this early version of the Yooka-Laylee title! ;)

He indeed said that this was a later version of the tune, with corrections and bits added : https://twitter.com/David_Wise/status/5 ... 6406329346 .

Also, the description of the tune in Bandcamp is interesting : "Jungle / Beach Area for Yooka Laylee by Playtonic Games". So there will be a beach involved?

How did you get that white version, though ? I'm not sure what's up with the black one, but it's all messed up around the edges. I'm assuming he uploaded a transparent PNG, which Bandcamp raped and turned into a JPG.

There's something nostalgic in this piece. I don't know what it is. I feel like I'm going back about 10 years to a relaxing time. Has some Diddy Kong Racing sounds mixed in there, but that's not just it. I can't quite figure out where in my childhood this is coming from. The kind of nostalgia I'm feeling right now as I listen to it is the same as I got when I played Pocket Tanks and Super DX Ball, it's similar-ish music I guess. Just something that pulls at solemn in me somehow.

I think Yooka-Laylee is going to be a wonderful game. I'll hold onto it for another ten years, and just sit back and watch my kids play it along with the other Playtonic Universe games.
Woaaaah, it finally came out! :o

I like the new instruments, but I think some bits could do without the added flute :P

I thought I heard a bit of Diddy Kong Racing type beach music in there for the "Beach Theme" ;)

Sounds like Diddy Kong Racing now.
