First glance I didn't like it and was like how's he going to move with his tail in the pants but then I read the article which explains more about his character and how he will move so yeah, I like him.

He looks funny for a snake with a pair of pants.

I find it funny that Steve Mayles (rightly) said shorts on Yooka would look weird, but he can fit them on a snake and it looks perfect. Truly a great character -- though I do wonder how a limbless creature can teach new moves!

One things for sure, I don't know how he will teach moves to Laylee, knowing that he's a snake. I don't even know if Trowzer is going to get along with Laylee.

A thing that I would love is that Trowzer would have a female moongoose as a rival and also a helper to Yooka and Laylee. Much like in Banjo-Tooie when Humba Wumba was a rival to Mumbo Jumbo.

^Wouldn't you agree?^

Yooka-Laylee: Why are you wearing shorts?

Trowzer: Why aren't you?

I've got the dialogue all set up.

Taylor confirmed for script writing.

And it says how he'll teach them moves right in the article - he's a salesman. He'll sell them the moves, and attempt his best to mime how they're executed. I don't think accuracy of execution is the intention. I think humor is what they're after and so far they nailed it. I mean, how does Jamjars teach you to use your bill as a drill? Or how does Bottles teach you to fire eggs out of your rear? Don't think too hard, it's a game.

Edit: Side-note, his back story is terribly depressing. The return of the overlookable dark elements in these games is here as well.

Edit 2: Future Playtonic Game ... Trowzer Tycoon - make a successful business as Trowzer.

Speaking of sales though - the Kickstarter just jumped about 9k or so. We're only 500 pounds off the orchestral goal now.
