I ultimately hope the culture in that Playtonic development room is what the backers hope it is. That the backers, and in the end the players, will get a polished and full exciting game FIRST(all the love & sweat poured into a masterpiece), then the development of DLC will start later and from a clean slate(this gives them to introduce new character from other universes too), no "That's an awesome idea! We'll hold that content off from the full game until we start on the DLC" during development of Yooka-Laylee.
I'm all up for recycling old ideas and getting inspiration from them but not consciously holding off "good stuff" just because they weren't confident in themselves as developers to be creative and have fun developing new content.
I look up to these guys and place my hopes and faith that they are different and that their culture respects the player as a human audience that respects their work not just people with money who want to see what they can do to impress them. :/
I have my worries because their human(this is money they ultimately live off of to eat and survive), but I think this close of a connection with their audience gives me faith that they respect us.

And wouldn't lead us on to believe their the type of group who wouldn't do that shady DLC stuff and end up doing so, I would lose(as am sure many of us would) much trust in them & I WOULD take it personally.
