It's a Unity 5 game if I'm not mistaken. Unity markets itself as an engine that is very easy to export on many different platforms. I don't know how easy it actually is, marketing is marketing, but it's probably much easier than with in house engines. So I could easily believe in a day 1 multiplatform release.
My question is how will Playtonic handle updates? It's fairly straightforward to push updates on PC, but there are more restrictions on consoles (we all heard the horrible things Microsoft asks for updates for instance). Will this negatively affect PC users by delaying updates until they're also ready for consoles? Or will the PC version be updated even if consoles have to be left in the dust?
