I think Nuts and Bolts had the right idea, but it needed to last through the entire dialogue, like they're actually speaking. Still prefer it over the synthetic-sounding random sound effects.

I do want to hear the classic garglemesh or gobbledegook or whatever you want to call it come back, with the talking lasting through the length of the actual sentence. Though, I think there is one thing that can be borrowed from Nuts & Bolts; the ability to scroll. I liked that you could go back and reread what had been said. That should probably still be in there... though maybe without the distracting arrows on the text boxes. Trowzer can just tell you that scrolling through character speech is possible. It doesn't need a visual representation telling you something you already know hundreds, if not THOUSANDS of times.
