What system(s) would you like to see this on?

Postby Kippran » Sat Mar 14, 2015 4:35 pm

I for one would love to see this on both the Wii U and PC. My levels of nostalgia for games like this are very high and since the past games were all on Nintendo systems, my personal preference is that we see these new games on Nintendo systems as well.

What about you guys?

The games HAVE to be on Nintendo consoles, they're the platformed kings, and fathered BK and their other masterpieces. If there's one console this game ends up on, it almost has to be the Wii U.

I think it should definitely have a strong presence on Nintendo platforms (Ukulele for Smash 5!), but I'd probably get the game on Xbox One if it were available there. I'm not a Sony fan in any way, but they also shouldn't ignore PS4's massive install base.

A PC release, too. This game would be a massive hit on Steam.

It HAS to be on Wii U or there's no justice in this world. I seriously think the team at Playtonic should let that system take priority because it seems to be the pickest about what software works and doesn't work on its hardware. (Look how Sonic Boom turned. CryEngine ain't worth crap on Wii U). If the game doesn't work well on Wii U, it will hurt the game.

why? because it's awesome. that's why.

To be honest I don't care at all. I have all machines that could run it so whatever it releases on, I'll be getting it.

I'm more concerned about which bonuses I want with my game ^^

It has to be on WiiU.But, to reach a lot of people, it has to be on PS4, Xbox One, and PC too.

As many systems as possible.

Personally I'd prefer to play it on Xbox One.

As many systems as possible. Exclusives are just wrong, please simply let everyone be able to play and enjoy Project Ukulele regardless of what consoles they have.

On PC, I'd love to see Linux and Mac versions.

As far as digital distribution is concerned, Steam of course, but I'd also really would like the game to be available on GOG. If I have the choice, of all platforms and distribution services I'll get it on GOG.

For profitability, they should put it on as many platforms as possible. 3D platformers have a hard time anyways in these days, so they should include the largest audience. But they should definitely put Wii U on a high(er) priority, since it's not only a symbolic comeback, but also the system on which people usually enjoy charming & colorful games - especially platformers.

I agree that Project Ukulele and future games need to be on Nintendo consoles. This is where their core-fanbase comes from, and still is really. Not to say that bringing the games on other platforms is a bad idea, not at all. They want to have the largest audience possible, so multi-platform is a good idea. But the games need to be released on a Nintendo system, I'd be seriously disappointed they it weren't and they'd stick to just other consoles. Project Ukulele should definitely be released on the Wii U, I think that's the most important platform for them and the fans.

Definitely Wii U. It would just feel so natural on a Nintendo system (also, amiibos, apparently!).

If it's released on Wii U, that's where I plan on buying it. My backup plan would have to be PS4, then PC.

So as long as it's not Xbox exclusive, I'm sold. I'd love for it to release on as many platforms as possible though.

Wii U as the target platform. Make a deal with Nintendo for advertisment. They need the games. Then make ports for PS4 and Xbox One.

Wii U definitely! It would just work so well. Probably PC as well to hit a large audience.
I'm watching you
