why don't make 700.000 on all platforms? some indies fund their games 12.000 on all platform no one excluded!!

i don't wanna see every streatch goal 1 console.

just make 1 price for a multiplatform release.
can't wait for Yooka Laylee (PS4) :geek: :D

I might post again later because I don't have much time now (I'm using my phone to write this), but I wanted to say:

1. Wii U stretch goal should be, like, £1,000,000 considering how much people want it and how much money Playtonic need/deserve to get the company off the ground (not just a single game).

2. Talking of getting the company off the ground, I agree with your last stretch goal: I'd like to see any excess funds going on the company and future games instead of bloating the first game out to a ridiculous size. I want Playtonic to profit on Ukulele and hopefully have some excess funds from Kickstarter to allow them to comfortably make the second game (almost) straight after the release of the first.

The game does not need to be funded by kickstarter for the pc version. The game will still released on the pc without kickstarter help.

I would like console stretch goals plus multi-language strech goal (maybe the usual English, French, Spanish, German and Italian). For the rest, I don't really know.

Base Goal: Wii U version of the game

Stretch Goal 1: PS4 and XB1 versions of the game

Stretch Goal 2: Hidden easter eggs throughout the game that homage Playtonic's history with Rare (including an unnamed goldfish who taps on his bowl three times)

Stretch Goal 3. Additional transformations (assuming the game uses transformations, which it should!)

Stretch Goal 4: A secret world accessed by completing all the other worlds 100%

Stretch Goal 5: Amiibo support (preferably, using a Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong amiibo will unlock something cool)

Stretch Goal 6: Stop 'n' Swop (a hidden area with a mysterious item that will eventually allow cross compatibility with the sequel)

Something like that would be great.

@Alph: you basically take the opposite approach that I had, it's interesting. We prioritized the porting differently. What I did was first make the game as good as possible, include as much of the optional content so that we get as good a game as possible. Then I included the goals to port that game to other consoles. Instead, you first made sure that the game is available everywhere, even if it's a bare bones game, and then you added all the little game enhancements. Maybe it's a more sound strategy, from an economics point of view: first make sure that it sells as much as possible (make it available to more people), and only then worry about making it as good as possible.

I assume you didn't put PC as the base goal because they said that they're making it for PC anyway even if the Kickstarter fails, but I think they'll still put it as the main goal.

Yeah I think making the game as available as possible is a good idea since that will build up a bigger audience for future games. Especially since I think the Nintendo and Playstation audiences are the most receptive audiences for 3D platformers (I mean has any 3D platformer ever been really successful on PC?).

And yeah I assumed a PC release was a given, since that will go through regardless of the kickstarter.

It's absolutely essential that Playtonic finishes the Kickstarter before E3. If Rare announces Banjo 3, it will hurt the success of the campaign, as people will feel their hunger for Rare-like platformers is fed.
