How about the ability to transform into musical instruments?

Have a writing wizard character transform Uko and Lei-Lei into many different instruments that go with the music of each Book World! You pay him with special Musical Pagies (Golden Pagies are for expanding the Book Worlds and still the main collectible) and more for each world and can become a Ukulele, Bagpipes, Accordian, Banjo, Kazoo (yep I just did that lol.), Flute, Steel Drums, and Electric Guitar!

So that's 8 different instruments and one for each Book World! Then played for different NPCs and used to gather new info from them, open doors, and be a part of musical parade minigames!

You can be any instrument at any time once you've paid the first time! But you earn a new musical instrument transformation in each world!

I think I would like animal transformations better than any inanimate object transformations. And there are still lots of animals yet to be transformed into.

If the characters did turn into a instrument for a level, you should be able to make your own music for that level that saves. something creative that doesn't define the entire game would be nice. Im a musician so I would enjoy that, but not everyone would necessarily want to take the time. BUT WHO doesn't want to be a kirkhope for a level??
