We did INDEED see both heroes!

I could see some cool game play possibilities with a Chameleon as the main character.

The biggest thing I could see is using the long tongue to sort of grab onto surfaces to move around quick. Maybe a crosshair would appear and you could target a surface then pull yourself over too it.

As for the other character, I have no idea, But it will be a compliment to the other main character.

I wanted a color-changing chameleon since I saw the first screenshots. It often bothered me that Banjo didn't get quite as many powerups until Tooie, and making the larger character have more of their own skill sounds great!

I did have a silly through of the Chameleon? changing color and still getting caught cause the Backpack friend can't change with them. :x

Stealth could be fun! As long as there are other abilities tossed in.

Maybe to change color you would have to use a sort of Eyedropper tool from the surrounding area using the Wii U game pad, then the character would change. If yo picked the wrong color you wouldn't be camouflaged enough for enemies to look over you. Of course for the PC version you could use a crosshair.

This would also make sense why they said "And for everyone asking why we didn't introduce our new heroes today - we did. Didn't you see them?" on Twitter, they were simply playing at the idea of this camo ability.

This of course has already been discussed, but sometimes it's good to restate things.

If it is a chameleon I'm disappointed considering there was already a chameleon game I really enjoyed in the era of BK1/2

JellyFunk has a point. You will never be able to be completely original no matter how hard you try. I've never even heard of Chameleon Twist, by the way.

Originality is almost impossible, everything is based off of something else usually. It's the way you take old ideas and spin them around to make them seem fresh and new! Take for instance every mario game since almost forever. Old concepts and new twists!

Speaking of twists, I also have never heard of ChameleonTwist. But I will take your word that it was a good game!

Chameleon Twist was definitely a really fun game. It was much more linear than Banjo Kazooie though and wasn't as well known of a title, so I doubt Playtonic will get many comments about resemblance.

well it might as well be a dragon too, with inverted roles this time. The 1st character is the flying one and the second one a mammal of some kind? a Monkey that can climb trees or something not sure.


Trying to look from another perspective (if they are looking at each other why the chameleon/dragon eyes are looking it the opposite direction?) is there something over there that catches the green character's attention and we are still missing?





this is just me speculating of course and I might be contradicting myself too hahaha so trying to look at it from another perspective what do you see?
