I like the idea of a low poly character model as an unlockable cheat. Think about 007 how you could toggle "DK Mode," Bottles' Challenge in Banjo-Kazooie how you do the puzzles and enter the Bottles Bonus codes in Treasure Trove Cove, and Banjo-Tooie with the Dragon Kazooie transformation. They could have a secret bonus stage you can only get to with mastery of the game mechanics that's all low-poly with the same style N64 music. Then, upon completion of the level, you get to toggle that cheat. That would be delightful.
