It's PC for me. I used to be diehard Nintendo in my younger days, but as a frugal adult I'm completely converted to PC. A great gaming PC build will generally run you more than the cost of a console, but you really make up those savings on the cost of games and the performance you get. It's analogous to buying an expensive, high end printer but the ink is super cheap. Consoles, to me, are like reasonably priced, pretty good printers but with pricey ink. Plus, the sheer customizability you can achieve on a PC is astounding. With the advent of the "Steam Box" your PC can perform all functions of a console AND more. I prefer having one device that can do everything over several devices for different things. I admire efficiency.
However, I do miss out on exclusives. All this Splatoon stuff is killing me! I want to play it so bad!
One of these days I'll give Linux a try, but my set up is Windows as of now.
