I don't know. I may get it on multiple platforms.

If they all the same content wise then will be a toss up between XBO and PS4 (which performs better? Maybe PS4?)

If they have bonuses with characters exclusive to that platform (eg, banjo and kazooie on XBO and donkey and diddy kong on wiiu, and maybe even ratchet & clank on ps4) I may get all or just the ones which has the best addition to me.

PC version I'm definitely getting though, just don't know if I'll be playing it much there.

>Lol Nintendo didn't sell 100,000,000 Wii Us like the Playstation 2 did because gamers wouldn't buy games for it

>I'll buy the game on PS4 or XB1 because gamers aren't buying for the Wii U lol I'm not the cause of the problem lol

> lololol

But really, it's got to be Wii U. A console with longevity? lol what? What happened to turning on your N64 or GameCube, or hell, NES, and playing games on there?

I guess I'm an oddity for not throwing my consoles in the dumpster when one of the big hardware creators even hints at releasing a successor hardware...

To answer the question about how E3 = Nintendo abandoning the Wii U... the only thing I can see is that some devs, and I guess Sony (didn't watch), had flashy E3 presentations. But even though no one should have expected anything flashy from Nintendo's in this year, considering last year they didn't even do a big stage and just did a Nintendo Direct, like this years, the "news-sports" couch coaches said Nintendo got outplayed at this E3...

Considering the fact that those other devs just hold back news all year for a 4-day event and Nintendo gives news every month on upcoming software, I'd say Nintendo did just fine. If you wanted to attempt an accurate assessment at "yearly gaming content", you can't just look at E3 when it comes to Nintendo. You look at the last 12 (and mini) directs and look at what news was released for games not yet released; or DLC plans that had been announced.

Simple as that. You do that, and Nintendo is right up there with the other devs...
Woaaaah, it finally came out! :o

I wanna get it for Wii U.... But I haven't found a reason to get one yet and I think i will struggle with the idea of getting a Wii U for just one game.

I don't really wanna play around with getting a controller working on PC :\

Maybe if a new Zelda or something comes out...

I ordered Wooly World today and that MIGHT be the last Wii u game I ever buy. I'm not 100% on whether to get Mario Maker or not.

For me MarioKart8, DK tropical freeze, ZombiU, Mario 3D World and Captain Toads treasure tracker are all great enough reasons to get the console.

Mario Maker looks fun enough for me that I'll buy it. PLUS it comes with 100 levels on-disc, so I'm down. I'm also looking forward to seeing what stupidly-hard and stupidly-cool levels the community comes up with. You just know someone in their basement has spent the last 2 years planning out how to re-make some AAA title in Mario Maker.

I can see both sides.

Side A) They've promised it for the WiiU, we've seen gameplay of it, the WiiU should be around for more-or-less two years still so it would make sense for Zelda to come out on WiiU yet as the last big title.

Side B) We've seen VERY little gameplay and even that could have been more or less pre-rendered on a PC to play on any system, some games get stuck in development hell particularly when on the edge of a console life-cycle. If the game gets delayed AT ALL it will make more sense to put it on the NX. A Zelda launch title would guarantee huge NX sales. It would absolutely be a system pusher.

It's really not too far though, especially not in this industry. 2 year delays aren't even bad anymore. Kingdom Hearts 3 is currently 10 years in the making. Final Fantasy 15 is going to have over 10 years of development time before release. The Last Guardian was delayed 10 years. Of course Duke Nukem Forever has the record I believe at 14 years of delays (or Banjo Threeie with "15" years of "delays" ;)). Point being, if the console is slated to launch 2017, ZeldaNX is a strong possibility.

Let's not forget that Zelda U has already been delayed twice itself...
