As this game will probably be very popular it's time to think of possible spin offs. What are your ideas for a golf spin off? If you want to hear one of MY ideas: How about a game called Yooka-Laylee Golf: Hole in One. The tagline should be 'It's Time for Tee and you're all invited!'
Single Player: The single player experience takes place in the Pagie Palace, a golf club designed to help new players become used to the game. When the game begins the players chosen character is instantly gifted with a membership card for this club. Who is the owner of this club? Why, who else but Trowzer, the snake who taught you the basics in the main game to teach you the basics in the spin offs. At the club, you can do three things: Play through tutorial tournaments against Trowzer (An easy opponent because of the lack of hands in which you can hone your skills, play fun minigames which put fun twists on the golf formula, such as Golf Pinball in which you play a game of golf inside a giant pinball machine which bumpers and everything and the final single player activity is exploring the Pagie Palace which plays just like a level in the actual game in which you explore the golf club using all the moves from Yooka Laylee to find keys to new golf courses tickets which unlock more minigames. Another thing to note about the single player experience is that whenever something is completed in game, like a tournament or a new high score in a mini game you earn Pagies which can be used to unlock stat-boosting clothing and equipment. These stats include strength, control and luck. Another thing about the Pagie Palace. In it you can find NPC's from Yooka-Laylee you can talk to and get some funny lines from. A few might even challenge you to a tournament. However, once you've honed your skills and boosted your stats in single player it's time to go multiplayer!
Multiplayer: The game would ideally feature international online available for all those out there with a console connected to the internet. After exploring the Pagie Palace for a while you will gain access to the basement in which you can speak to Trowzer and get access to online multiplayer. From here you can create and join a variety of different types of tournaments from traditional 18 hole ones to special speed challenges. There are 3 different forms of tournaments: Hole in One tournaments, in which you choose a selection of 18 holes and adjust the order in which you and your fellow participants play them in, Local Tournaments, in which you play with people in your region and in this mode you can actually adjust the difficulty of the courses which will be randomly selected by the computer and placed in a random order and International Tournaments, the only mode which gives you access to every option. You can also earn Pagies and exclusive gear from these tournaments.
