A Yooka-Laylee cartoon?

I think that, as a good way to promote the game itself, Yooka-Laylee should have it's own animated series.

What does everyone else think? Who would make it? Who would do the voices? What about it's running time? etc.

Terrible, terrible idea for a "series", especially if done by Playtonic. They make games, not shows. Anyhow! Fan animations can be really great. Playtonic can show their support for them be sharing links through social media, as they have in the past.

No. It would have to be a kids show and kids shows are incredibly tame and corny. With yookalaylee im hoping for a lot of adult humour.

Can hardly imagine how this would work out, especially since there will be no talking going on. Fan-Animations are always cool and nice to watch, though.

If you watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PiFCF5Sff5Q you'll see that Crash Bandicoot originally had cartoon cutscenes. Maybe Yooka-Laylee could do the same.

I'm skeptical about what good a cartoon would do - Viva Pinata had a cartoon and the game still sold a middling amount.

I personally dislike all TV series and movies based off video games, and vise versa... even if it is with a company as great as Playtonic. It just does not work.

The Viva Piñata cartoon was wondeful, they should make something equally as good.

I really wouldn't mind if there's a cartoon, but I wouldn't want it to be an integral part of the game itself... I'd prefer to experience the story through good, old, in-engine cutscenes.

I would settle for shorts. Like the one that I saw that had a My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic-like animation.
