I think it's tastefully subtle. But there are themes of schism and the corporate vs the artistic. ... not that we're supposed to be thinking of Rare and Playtonic as opposed.

Playtonic should take heed from Capital B's teeth, with all those sweets they post on twitter.

There's an orange fish in that there helmet!

The art and images are just so deliciously shiny ... put them in a jar and spread it on toast, and I'll eat it for breakfast every day

Multiplayer games, Coop, etc were milestones.

I had certainly never seen that bit before, especially regarding the co-op mode. The mini-games we knew about, but the Kickstarter page actually doesn't mention co-op once.

Something I posted in the other thread:

Also - "Across more than five distinct worlds, players will solve a huge variety of puzzles and platforming challenges in search of Pagies"

"Across more than five distinct worlds"

"more than five"

Also notice how in the cover photo Capital B is tearing apart the ground as well as some faintly drawn letters in the background? Kind of neat

More than 5 could simply mean the hub world and spiral mountain equivalent etc.

They are only promising 5, so I expect there to be 5 'proper' worlds. Maybe one bonus world too.

I also noted elsewhere that the shape of Dr. Quack's jar is both the banner and the profile picture on the QuackCorp twitter page. Which means Taylor was right, we probably haven't seen a Play Tonic yet.

Nope :D Cause I totally got it. I'm wondering if there's still a distinction between Toybox and Toybox+ though... I'm sure there are people who specifically put forth additional to get the full Toybox haha.

Edit: Just Toybox+, this isn't C.

Two things that come to my mind right now:

Do this Jellyfishes have eyes and a mouth?

Is this a golden balloon? Diddy Kong Racing reference...anyone?

By the way, Quack Corps profile picture is Dr Quack. It's his mech-suit jar thing, which looks like the purple liquid tube. So the tube isn't Play Tonic Juice at all... it's Dr Quack's suit?

The ice castle world looks really cool, and the bee guy looks like a cool antagonist. I really like the duck guy. I can't wait to see him in the game. I'm still not too huge a fan of Yooka and Laylee's designs, though. They feel kind of cheap and out of place in the huge and detailed worlds, but I'm sure I'll get over it when the game's released. Overall, I'm still a little skeptical about how the game's going to turn out, but I'll reserve my judgement until some gameplay videos get released.

I wonder if they're going to include the Toybox world in the full game in some way. It seems like a waste to put so much effort into a game's demo. Maybe it can be a secret sort of like the test room in DK64?
