We already know the hub is the cave-ish looking area from early in the project. Or have they scrapped that?

Yeah I imagined that underground place with tubes as like, the basement. Grunty's hub had lots of different zones. Isle O Hags even more so!

Just noticed an interesting segment in this magazine.

Glitterglaze Glacier (the ice world) is said to twinkle in sync with the music. I love when music and their worlds interweave. E.g. the enemies in New Super Mario Bros. that stop on the beat.

The music to Glitterglaze is also said to be very sombre and beautiful; Andy reckons it's one of the best pieces Grant has ever written. Andy goes on to say that the music is quite different to Banjo-Kazooie's and is an example of Yooka-Laylee doing its own thing instead of trying to perfectly emulate Banjo-Kaxooie's tone.

Those things can lead up to interesting gameplay wonder if it's just for fun or it actually offers something gameplay wise!

There's a nice Hiviry Tower pic in the OPM.

As far as hubs go, seems closest to Peaches Casrle -- advancing through a building. (Grunts Lair was more a cave-setting.)
However the hub is confirmed to have larger, open areas.
