They revealed the characters already?! Before the Kickstarter?! ...Alright, I guess... Also, I kind of guessed Yooka's species, never thought the other guy, Laylee, would be a bat, though... Also, nice punny name, even though Banjo-Kazooie isn't a punny name... Heck, Yooka-Laylee even sounds a lot like Banjo-Kazooie!

Bit disappointed that Yooka isn't a girl... Or that neither of them are girls... And I'm sure they have differing personalities, but really, these are two neat-looking characters, but nothing can quite capture the same design, look, and dynamic between Banjo and Kazooie... I mean, Kazooie lives in Banjo's backpack, and Banjo has a bear of yellow shorts for no reason. I find it a BIT hard to top.

Then again, it IS just a spiritual successor, as much as I want this to be Banjo-Threeie, I can't be TOO demanding, especially since these guys are trying so hard to give us what we want.

BTW, while I like Yooka's look, something's... off... about Laylee's design. Maybe it's his big nose, or why he hangs out on Yooka's head for some reason... Oh, I'm sure it'll be explained in-game, but still... Gonna take some getting used to for this one.

Went over some of the Yooka-Laylee videos and found a couple of interesting things.

Confirmed:

- Ability to

- Enemies when killed.

- The is a recurring information guy. You can see him on the monitor on the right . Also pretty cool platforming featured in this clip that I didn't see until today.

- The original design for Yooka was a . I found this interesting as it instantly reminded me of the Playtonic revealed. Notice the broad-shouldered 'tiger' in the middle? Was he once our protagonist?

Interesting videos with gameplay:

So this topic is unlocked? Good...

IMO, I look forward to seeing more of the Signpost guy, or if he gets an actual name. :D

Does anyone know for sure that the Jungle is part of the hub world or are they both separated?

Worlds are separate from the hub, so I assume they're apart. Just based on what we've been told so far.

Maybe I'm blind, but I skimmed through all the videos in the OP and I can't find the video with dialogue between Yooka and Laylee. Something like, "How much longer are we going to be in here, Yooka" (referring to the teaser image) that was at the end of one of the gameplay videos IIRC. Anyone spot that anywhere?

So, Playtonic Tweeted at Nolan North (Voice actor in Assassin's Creed, but known mostly for Nathan Drake and his work with Naughty Dog). Probably just a joke…buuuuuttttt

DRM stands for Digital Rights Management.

Example for good DRM:
- There is no good Example!

Example for bad DRM:
- Always online!
- Many patches and programs you have to install or else you are not allowed to play.
- You have to pay for some in game-features
etc.

DRM is like the brand of many bad games or more specifically EA.

I can't dig into the deep ocean of DRM because I would drown.
