^ I think many of us get nostalgic about those cheat codes in Treasure Trove Cove. A different Kickstarter success, Shovel Knight, handled codes pretty well.

Anyways, I had forgotten -- Playtonic mentioned they wanted to create a cast of characters who could eventually star in their own separate games.

Pretty interesting if this idea come to fruition! Curious what that will look like. I wonder if this would impact world-design ... like something akin to if the worlds of Hyrule or Metroid had been first introduced in a Mario title.

Right! I wonder how obvious they will make it, who the future heros are. Will they stand out as more developed/interesting?
It will be fun to see how this all pans out, over the years!! I like this character/mascot driven approach ... and by artists who made such great games way back.

Finish the core game first.

Last thing I want is talks of spin-offs, sequels, and Amiibos long before the game is finished.

Or delaying it 3 times...

Concern? What's happened here? Nothing. You chose to engage me in an argument. Still unclear what personal problems you have with me. Or is that a problem too?

It was never a problem until personal attacks. If that's what you love to do, maybe this isn't the forums for you.

Let's not stray too far from Yooka-Laylee, guys. Hopefully all is cleared up, but if not, please PM each other. Further argumentative posts will be deleted.

I hope Playtonic give us an update soon. I think something small once a month would be nice.

I'm with Taylor in this one too! I just wish that the toy box remains as it was intended... an experience similar to the game without big spoilers or puzzles that will be in the game.

I don't want to stumble with an already beaten puzzle in the final game.

I'm drooling at what the toybox has in store of us. maybe the toybox will be its own little world with secrets to discover that reveals more info on the game.

also. i can say with confidence that this game will get a sequel. given how the kickstarter was such a huge success and such. if there is a sequel, would love to see something similar to how banjo tooie continued banjo kazooie. for example, all moves from the previous game are unlocked from the start of the sequel, with new moves to build upon what was already there. new worlds, new characters. heck, i would LOVE to see a stop n swap 3.0 implimented here. i mean, since this game is a digital release there can be hidden objects that carry over to the sequel if theres a save file of the first game with the object collected on the system to unlock goodies and such.

honestly, i know the toybox has been delayed... but i think itll be well worth the wait. here's hoping there will be lots to discovered in the greatest demo ever.
