Playtonic E3 General Discussion

Postby dotEXE » Fri Jun 10, 2016 1:06 pm

The E3 presentations start this Sunday with the general floor stuff starting Tuesday, and I'm wondering if anyone (Andy, more Playtonic folks) can outline our best route for maximizing Playtonic content?

Does anyone know:
What presentations they're included in?
If they have a booth?
Where or when gameplay footage might be shown?

Would love to add Playtonic to my yearly E3 binge!

I'm sure they'll send out an email with any updates during E3

I don't know, but I presume it'll be like last time: a small table set up with a laptop showing the game. Videos will probably emerge on channels like GameXplain

By the way, which number of the seven updates was the release date trailer?

I thought this thread was about stalking.

But seriously, great question, dot.

Hahaha I guess it does sound like I want to physically follow them around, peeking over a newspaper as to not be seen.

I just meant what presentations do I ultra need to see

I guess videos will start popping up either tomorrow or Tuesday. Andy, Dean and Steve Mayles are flying over now, so they're not going to make it today.

Surely nothing new is getting revealed at e3?

We've just had a SHIT-TON of info thrown at us and we're all very satisfied with it. What else could they reveal?

It'll be interviews with 'live' gameplay. We probably won't get much more info, but we will most likely catch a few more interesting glimpses of the world's we've already seen. Maybe more.

Some live gameplay would be what I'm hoping for. I figured they wouldn't be showing anything today though. Just EA's snore-fest, and now Bethesda comes on in about 5 more minutes. Hoping they rock the house again.

Yooka Laylee was shown in the Indie Games Footage of the Microsoft E3 pressconference. :D
Well, at least a few seconds. ^^

And i´m pretty curious what they have in store to show us there at E3. :)

Can we either make this the E3 topic or make a new one? I'll let someone else do the honors...

That should do. So far I've only seen them in the Microsoft conference as part of the Indie Games segment. possible they'll pop up in the Sony segment tonight as well.
