Your first look at the Toy box!

Looks fun. Thoroughly enjoyed watching that. I didn't pledge for the toy box but I'm sure those who did will have fun with this.

Mostly looks fun, can't wait to play it. However, I think underwater things shouldn't look wobbly when the camera is underwater. Under water things look wobbly when the camera is out of water and vice versa, so the swimming part looked very strange. Or was that just me?

Toy box looks awesome, i wish i had know about the project on time for pledge, haha it seems so fun to play,

One thing i noticed in the gameplay that can be improved though, is that Yooka could open the arms in front of the pink ball so it makes it easier to guide the ball, it looks werid pushing the ball with his face and no animation on the arms, i think there is some reaction missing to that asset, other than that everything looks pretty neat!
The character controller looks exceptionally well programmed!

The underwater diffraction issue is the only aesthetic choice I haven't completely liked so far. It's not like that in the official trailer though, so it may be that the Toybox footage is old. That being said, I can't wait to play this...

Saw the pre-alpha (serious?) toybox and I think it really does what it is supposed to do. Give you the obstacles you need to get accustomed to the feeling of movement within the game.
This will be fun and it will not be long until we can give it a spin!

The animations and moves look so fluid. I love everything -- it plays so well.

Wondering what those wind lines are with the leaves blowing around. It shows up in Tribalstack Tropics as well. Could Laylee use it to fly around?

Did anyone catch that they mentioned an NPC that hasn't been revealed yet, will be hidden in the toybox? I'm most excited for that.

I don't mind the underwater portion, to be honest. I'm most concerned about the camera angles. Like for example when Yooka went through the hole on one platform there was a moment of blindness before the camera went back to him as he fell through. Also when he went down the slide blindly without being able to see that there was a slide there. I'm hoping the camera isn't fixed and can be rotated to view the surroundings.

I also noticed during the gameplay footage of the actual game there was no background music. I'm assuming it will be added in later on, but that made me nervous.

True. Difficult to say precisely what they mean.

The Edge article contained a few exclusive character concepts ... Vendi and the Hopsalot (?) Pig are SEMI-revealed. It's open to interpretation.
