First I want to know whats special about the NX and will it have the power to see a big difference.
Nintendo confirmed Zelda for Wii U and NX if its true that we have the same feeling on both, so why wait. If we cannot play it also on the NX via backwards compatibility. It would be nice to have a cartridge for kind of retro feeling for NX.

If it's Wii U compatible, then that's all there needs to be.

If not, who knows - maybe Nintendo will do what they did with Bayonetta and pay for a port alongside a sequel.

I don't think they should put it on any additional consoles unless it's a port made after the game's initial release.

While Playtonic and Comcept are completely different entities and I have far more faith in Playtonic than I ever did Comcept, Mighty No. 9 is a cautionary tale of what can go wrong when a smaller studio tries to port a game to too many different platforms. PC/PS4/Xbone/Wii U pretty much covers all grounds, there's no need for more.

I honestly feel that if there is another delay, (which is unlikely), it should be ported to the NX. If it isn't, I feel a port for the NX should be made down the line, with a discount available for people who kickstarted the game.

To be honest, I would much rather play it on the NX than the Wii U.

Can't people stop and think that the reason why they delayed Yooka-Laylee to Springt 2017, is because they want to see if they can also port it to the Nintendo NX, aside from polishing the game?

If the NX supports Wii U emulation, it may run Yooka Laylee and other titles made with Unity, but honestly, until the new system gets actual Unity support I doubt the game will be on the NX anytime soon after it releases.

Well, if this is releasing on the Wii U eShop I think it will carry over to the NX. So they might not even have to port it to the NX is designed to support Wii U eShop games. Just make it for the Wii U and it will work on the NX.

Just a heads up all the Eurogamer NX leak stuff seems to suggest that backwards compatibility with the Wii-U isn't gonna happen. Also I'm fairly certain it has been strongly suggested that the latest versions of Unity already support the NX, for what it's worth.
