I've always wanted an idle animation where Yooka struggles to move; attempting to jump repeatedly at slightly different angles, but it's like his feet are glued to the floor. He then glares into the camera (dynamic head turns pointing at something specific like this have been around for ages in games like Sonic Adventure and Conker's Bad Fur Day.), points at the player, motions his hands like he's pushing buttons on a keyboard or controller (depending on what the game reads is being used), and then points down really hard, as if you say "You! Start pushing buttons! NOW!" Laylee's probably watchin' him the whole time with an expression on her face that's all like "What are you doing? You ok? Are you feeling alright?"

Not sure if anyone has thought of this before, but regarding edge-grabbing, more likely for a sequel,
Yooka could be too busy holding both Laylee's legs to even grab edges. What if Laylee were the one to grab edges instead, and Yooka can be hanging from beneath her?
