So after sleeping over it, I feel less mad and frustrated.
My thoughts about it are still the same, but a little more rational.
By now everybody knows how I feel about it and I know how others feel about it.

For now, I've asked for a refund and I will MAYBE buy the game when it releases on the Switch.
I hope other people are still hyped tho, 'cause I hope you guys will have fun playing this game. :)

I will still follow the news on YL, but not as closely as before.
I will just check it out every now and then.

SO, I SHOULD & COULD have been more rational yesterday, but I still feel let down.

Just wanted to let you guys know. :)

It's a very very very good new !

People will buy a Nintendo Switch just to play to Yooka-Laylee on a mobile device! It's a great thing but I thing there will be a little report for Switch no ?

I chose the PS4 version and plan to get a switch sometime in the future. However, I still feel a bit bad for backers who only have a wii u console.

I couldn't care less that the Wii U port of Yooka-Laylee was canned due to technical problems, and even if I did care - I would just ask for a refund and move on instead of complaining day in day out about it which achieves nothing.

Oh, goodness!
Remember Clive N Wrench? Was originally slated for Wii U, now no more!

Well now I'm certain that Lobodestroyo jumped the ship, too. Looks like the Switch is going to be the 3D platformer revival platform!

Wouldn't be surprised to see Bloodstained and a bunch of other games jump ship too. AAA games at that.
Make the forum great again.

Jeez, give us WiiU users some gurning space without asking us to get over ourselves! I know the rest of you with your PS4s, xBoxs, fancy PCs, and Switch pre-orders are all sitting pretty, but at least let us have a day or two of complaining (how would you PS4 owners feel if they cancelled that version!). As you say it's only a game, but I'm still going to stew a bit yet, and have another gurn before I ask for a refund.

I'm not going to be getting a Switch anytime soon, and I won't be buying a PS4 or xBox. I mainly pledged for my young kids so they could see what a great platform game is like. They love the Wiiu, and we won't be replacing it in the next 2 years.

I do have a laptop, but it's a core M with a 11 inch screen - so it's not the best for playing games. What's the minimum spec for running it on PC? And how do you get the toybox demo for PC - so I can at least try it and see if it will run? Otherwise it will be a refund for me (and go back to playing Banjo Tooie on my n64 emulator).
