There does seem to be a sentiment here that it's okay to argue and disagree about things, without developing malice.

Slightly tangential but since there's been some talk regarding KS funds

One can see every employee they have here at this link: http://www.playtonicgames.com/team/ (That's 22 currently, minus Karn as well as the "additional contributors")
Because they're game devs, you can see their credited professional history on a site like Moby Games.

Thier 3 million USD in kickstarter funds could be halved to 1.5 million annually for 2 years, divide that by 20 FTE jobs to get about 75k salaries, which seems average (not starting pay) for the industry.
Of course, per that KS campaign pie chart, 40-50 percent of funds went to various fees. And the music and orchestration take up a fair slice, too. Also, Playtonic is still at work fulfilling their free DLC promise.

That is all to say that:
a) 3 million is not a lot for this type of game
b) Looking at their "team" page, it's clear where much of the funds went -- hiring experienced ex-Rare developers
c) Playtonic are somewhat like the local bakery; they're a small business

EDIT: @Jinjo I recall your statement that the upgrade to physical should be free for backers. To clarify: this implies is that Playtonic should subsidize the production, materials, and shipping/handling costs.

MANY people are asking for Switch version info.
I think PG is under big pressure atm...
