Physical PC game

Postby DrewScroll » Mon Feb 13, 2017 6:12 pm

I am a bit confused about something, and that is the Physical PC version that we will receive from our package once April comes. I can't remember if I asked this but, if Playtonic releases the free DLC for backers for the game, how can we receive said DLC in order to play it with the Physical PC game? Shall it be on the BackerKit like with the Toybox?

I'm assuming the DLC will be provided via download somehow. Maybe a patching wizard like how Windows handled ye olde service packs.

Personally I'm keeping my physical PC version in the box. I got a steam key and the physical PC version specifically for that reason. Plus, my PC doesn't have a disk drive. (who does anymore?)

Unless they've stated otherwise, its probably still activated through steam. Most modern physical pc games are just isntallation discs that authenticate with whichever client, such as steam or origin, they use.
