hey, we already know the scores, we are all waiting close to 2 years for this. so my question is... will backer codes be released ahead of release or at the same time as release?

According to a tweet that Playtonic made today, it looks as though backers may indeed get their codes sent to them before the 11th.

Don't know if that means the codes will allow you to download and actually play the game before the 11th or not though.

I'm from The Netherlands too and we backed the kickstarter since day one. If we get a code before the 11th that would be awesome. We actually were wondering when codes would be sent out, since this is the first time we backed a kickstarter project. I assume the code will be sent to the email address of the person that bought it back then, right?

Seems like all the people who got physical version will be able to play early, but for us who got digital we will have to wait until the 10th like everyone else. Which to be honest I feel is kinda bullshit. You give away the Toybox to people who pre purchase, than give people who backed the game nothing special outside of downloading it a little earlier and playing on the New Zealand release time. While few physicle owners will be able to play by today. Yep
