Just played more Yooka-Laylee! I managed to make it to the third world this time, and it's becoming more clear that the guys at Playtonic Games are expecting you the backtrack because there are a number of areas and Pagies you can't get right away when you first enter a world, even when you find Trowzer. That's alright, it's not like I beat Super Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie, or Banjo-Tooie after I found everything the first time through... Well, actually, I DID do that with Banjo-Kazooie, but that's a weird situation, so whatever.
I also have to say, having played Rextro's mini-games and Kartos's mine cart sections in both of the first two worlds, I don't get the hate behind them, at least so far. Rextro's mini-games aren't that bad, and I even loved his second mini-game! Kartos's mine cart sections are annoying, but they're not all that frustrating... at least not yet. I just haven't gotten used to shooting, breaking, and boosting (I mostly just jump with his sections).
The third world wasn't what I was expecting at all; I thought it would be that casino world they showed off, but no it's completely different! I like it, but I will say the colors and lighting do make it difficult to tell if where I'm going is safe to traverse or not, but then again, I haven't explored much of that world yet...
Also, there's this skeleton-explorer girl that I keep running into along with Trowzer, Dr. Puzz, Rextro, Kartos, and Vendi in each world. I can't help but think of Sabreman from Sabre Wulf, and wonder if Rare ever gets around to making a game similar to that (or the Game Boy Advance Sabre Wulf which totally was a thing that happened), they should have that bone girl star in it! With that pot as her sidekick!

Lastly, screw those bouncing eyeballs, just screw them! I mean, they're practically invincible when they start spinning and there's a VERY short time-frame between when they stop spinning and start spinning again, so I almost always get hit by them before I can hit them back, and they take two hits to revert back to eyes so you can defeat them! Is there an easier way to take them down, by any chance? Anyone?
