How would you rank all 5 worlds from best to worst?

Question is in the title. Since a lot of you seemed to have already finished the game, how would you rank this game's levels?

Personally I'm still pretty indecisive, the only thing I could say for now is that Moodymaze Marsh and Galleon Galaxy probably appealed to me the most. What are your opinions?

Hard to pin down the order for me after the first one. I kinda feel like none of them were really great... I wouldn't say Moodymaze Marsh was very good, but I can't really say any of the 3 below it are better either... Trying not to sound like too much of a hater, but that's how I feel. :lol: Moment to moment gameplay is fine, but each level as a whole isn't very cohesive.

I really liked Moodymaze Marsh's aesthetic and music, and most of the Pagies were quite fun to collect. Capital Cashino was fun as well, and Tribalstack Tropics was a really good first world. Galleon Galaxy seemed a little uninspired for something as creatively unrestricted as outer space, and Glitterglaze Glacier was just a barren wasteland.

Prepare yourselves for a bunch of opinions!

1: Galleon Galaxy - I really LOVED Galleon Galaxy. Fantastic level design, a useful transformation and perfect level size.
2: Tribalstack Tropics - I liked Tribastack Tropics because of the great climbable monuments and fun challenges. It's also a great starting world.
3: Moodymaze Marsh - Moodymaze Marsh was good, and it felt easier to navigate. (More BK like maybe.) It didn't look that visually great though.
4: Glitterglaze Glacier - A great world, but it's pretty big, and a little hard to navigate. Locating the snowpiles with the truck was especially difficult.
5: Capital Cashino - Capital Cashino had some really great things about it, and stood out in a nice way. I did find locating some of the coins difficult though, and I also had a problem navigating the place.

Overall, I loved all the levels, but some were better than others. There wasn't a single one that I hated or didn't find interesting and fun to explore. :)

All are great worlds anyway, every one is so unique. Capital Cashino was the big surprise I guess!

I'm going to clump mine into three groups:

1. Galleon Galaxy and Tribalstack Tropics.

I mark these as tied for being the best two worlds. I absolutely love them so much. Tropics is easily the best opening world of any collectathon I've played. Bob-omb Battlefield, Mumbo's Mountain, Jungle Japes, and Mayahem Temple all pale in comparison to this world in my opinion. Galleon Galaxy is the quintessential Rare map. I'm a sucker for pirate-themed stuff from Rare and this map did not disappoint. It's laid out in a very organized fashion.

2. Capital Cashino and Moodymaze Marsh.

These are truthfully just right behind the other two, but they are closer together to me in how much I like them. They're both really solid worlds that are a ton of fun to explore. Cashino has some of the most fun games in it, and Moodymaze has a lot of creative exploration in it.

3. GlitterGlaze Glacier.

I don't dislike this map by any means, but it can be kind of grating if you stay there for an extended amount of time.

I'm holding off on this till I've explored all the expanded versions. I recently expanded Glittergaze and Moodymarsh and absolutely loved the extra areas. Icymetric Palice <3

1. Capital Cashino - very unique and different from all the other worlds. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved this one. However, not sure I understand how this casino takes place within a book...

2. Galleon Galaxy - the colors and level design are beautiful. It was a lot of fun traversing this world and completing all the challenges. Also scared me a bit at how trippy that ocean/galaxy/whatever was. And the giant red planet freaked me out with how huge it was.

3. Moodmaze Marsh - loved the colors and mood of this level. Also the challenges were unique and fun and required a bit of thought and precision when completing.

4. Tribalstack Tropics - thought this was a great starting world, loved the expansion, the colors, the platforming.

5. Glitterglaze Glacier - honestly the only world I didn't like. Felt it was too lifeless.

I think overall these worlds were done well, but all needed a bit more life as far as characters living within them.

1. Moodymaze Marsh
It's eerie. Too little eerieness in YL from my perspective. Also it's got such a classic platformer-ish boss. And the fact you can't just walk everywhere means you won't get lost as easily. Ironically, that is. It's still a bit same-looking overall, but my favourite nonetheless because it feels so nostalgic. I would have loved the entire game to feel this way.

2. Galleon Galaxy
It's big, but like the first the fact you can't just go everywhere means you won't get lost as easily. Also, another nice boss, and a lot of different things to see. I understand everyone who puts this first.

3. Capital Cashino
Another one with a nice boss. The casino theme didn't actually seem that exciting too me. Also, it's where I found a pretty awful bug. But still, the boss.

4. Glitterglaze Glacier
Yeah... It's an ice world... I'm basically running through ice the entire level. Meh. On the other hand, it's got the icymetric palace. On the other other hand, the boss is really, really lame. It's the level I got lost the most in, given how everything looks the same. Hard for me to decide whether this or TT should be last.

5. Tribalstack Tropics
Unlike 4., which at least had the icymetric part, this one's basically the same assets for the entire level. Also the boss is probably the worst part of the game, given how hard it is (until you realize you can just jump over the logs instead of trying to evade them), how the camera annoyingly turns every time you reach the bottom of the slope, how you might actually fall down from the boss area. Sorry, Playtonic.

My list and why :

1. Capital Cashino : Because the music and atmosphere is great. Great surprise !

2. Galleon Gallaxy : the mix between a pirate bay and space (exclusive theme) is amazing and the music is too.

3. Tribalstack Tropics : a perfect starting world

4. MoodyMaze Marsh : Too many references in the level. The haunted theme is not enough used. I don't understand the metal i was prefered a stone old village. I like this world but i don"t understand it.

5. Glitterglaze Glacier is a very beautiful world but the there is no characters is. This world is empty but very beautiful. There is something world and the expand is bad. I don't like the icemetry palacy also he is beautiful.

Capital Cashino was a joy to play I liked the environment and it wasn't too difficult to traverse. I my issues were a pretty bad lag from time to time and I wasn't a fan of the slit machines. Rest was brill. Transformation was great and used for a lot of things.
I haven't been in Galleon Galaxy long but I'm quite enjoying it. Transformation is definitely top 2, seems to be very useful and it's simple to control. I like that it's a brand new world, a kind of space/water world hybrid. Doesn't seem too difficult to find your way around which I'm glad of. Really hated the space golf though which glitched on me so had to do it twice.
Tribalstack Tropics is a bit meh. The "plain no theme grassy world" has been done and done and done. Mumbos mountain, mayhem temple, jungle japes. I prefer something new. I didn't dislike the world as such but I did get lost a lot and found myself walking round aimlessly for ages. Also wasn't a big fan of the fact that I spent so long trying to figure out what use the world had for the water from the cloud. Turns out nothing. The transformation in this world is by far the worst. So pointless.
Moodymaze Marsh In a sentence is just too dark. I can't see sh**. I know it's supposed to be hard to find your way around given the name of the world bit I don't like this. I hate being lost in games.
Glitterglaze Glacier is way too big. The world is empty and takes far too long to traverse. Also, the snow world has been used way too many times. We need to try something new. I found this to be too similar to the snow side of Hailfire Peaks in parts. I absolutely hated the transformation in this level. It's not innovative and it controlled terribly.

1. Tribalstack Tropics, Capital Cashino, Galleon Galaxy

Loved all 3. Wouldn't touch a hair on any of their heads (originally I found the uneven distribution of content between pre and post-expansion Galleon Galaxy to be a little odd, but after playing through the level it would have been impossible to split it up any other way).

2. Glitterglaze Glacier

Liked the starter version of the level, but would have preferred a much reduced Icymetric Castle in exchange for an expansion of the outdoor portion of the level. The castle was fun in its own way but I felt like I'd gotten the point long before it ended. Also my least favourite boss, especially
3. Moodymaze Marsh

Gameplay was just as fun as any of the other levels, but the "dark green everywhere" aesthetic didn't seem to fit with the colour, light, and beauty of the rest of the game. The pumpkins seemed out of place as well without any other horror trappings to back them up; it's like the level was meant to be a mix of Bubblegloop Swamp and Mad Monster Mansion, but somewhere along the way Bubblegloop beat up Mad Monster and stole its lunch money. Would also have liked a larger area for the transformation to roam around in.

Lest paragraphs 2 and 3 sound too critical, I should point out that I had a blast in all 5 levels and the stuff I didn't like is mostly nitpicks.
