One of my favorite parts of the game. Not every single part of the game should be ridiculously easy. Having a challenging or frustrating part is good for the game. 100% completion should be something you earn.

I died a lot in that part but I agree, having challenge is great.
Other hard parts in the game for me: First boss, Planker mission in Moodymaze Marsh, Minecart segments in worlds 3 and 4, finding the red ghost writer in Galleon Galaxy.

Is that the really dark room where you need to use the firefly glow to navigate? Also every surface is slippery and require you to use the roll move?

I really didn't think it was that bad :?

Me and my friend both had it very easy in here. I think some peoples' issue is not jumping constantly and thus falling prey to the ice physics. You have much more control over the aerial roll than you might think. I've also seen people doing stupid stuff like riding the platforms before killing the bees from afar, or antagonizing the orange guy, or just plain sucking at managing their camera. I beat this thing like a dozen times with under 3 deaths, and I have come to the conclusion that anyone who complains about this area is just bad at this game for one reason or another.

Yep, do most of your positioning mid jump. I think I actually more or less didn't move in that challenge unless it was mid-air.
