Fall damage?

Fall damage?

There is one thing I did while experimenting with platforming in some of the worlds of the game and frankly...

What is up with all fall damage being equal all the time? I think it's pretty jarring that the duo take damage from falling quite easily... and yet, you can fall from absolutely any height and you always take the same amount of damage. Given how little the duo tolerate falls of any really large height, one would think that falling from, say, the top of the Monument in Tribalstack Tropics would be instant death. Yet, it isn't.

I know there's been a lot of people who say that Yooka-Laylee is somehow too hard (a complaint I admit I can't really grasp) but...

Shouldn't damage be scaled to height, with extremely long falls being instantly lethal?
