With the Impossible Lair announced...

Has there been any word on the DLC for the Yooka-Laylee original game? I heard talk that it was being worked on maybe around the start of this year. But haven't heard anything since. With this new game announced and nearing completion, is the DLC stretch-goal still on the cards for YL? It's hard to search for information on it now that a new game is announced.

Someone asked Daley about the DLC on Twitter on the day of the Impossible Lair announcement, and her response was that they "have not forgotten about the DLC but they have nothing to announce at this time". My takeaway was that until Impossible Lair is out the door we probably shouldn't expect to hear about anything else.


-Edit, I went back to the Twitter chain to make sure I got the quote right, and since last time I looked there is now a whole conversation where Daley pretty much confirms that until Impossible Lair starts bringing in $$$, there is no budget for the DLC. That's unfortunate to hear. Not that we need to wait on the DLC, but that Playtonic needs the money from THIS game to further support the first one. I was hoping their funding was more stable to work on multiple projects. I hope they can start making more money for stuff, not just DLC. I can wait for that as long as Playtonic stays viable.
