Kickstarter Date: May 1st!‏

I'm sure most of you have seen the newsletter already, but if you haven't (or if you want to discuss it), Playtonic have just announced that the Kickstarter will be up May 1st! I was wondering if it would be early or late May. Now we know.

I wonder how much we'll see. Character designs are a given. I presume gameplay will be in there as well as multiple worlds on top of the jungle and hub we've seen already. It's so exciting to imagine what they've hidden from us for so long. What pace are they working at? Etc.

Or is it going to be a five second clip of POOP printing out the character designs -- fade to black.

Do Kickstarter pages go live at a particular time on a set date or is it just whenever it's uploaded by the team? Wondering if I need to practice my 'pressing F5 repeatedly' technique...

Can anyone confirm that a Kickstarter lasts for a month? So it will end in June? That's plenty of time to let me think about the tiers and finally back it.

Best news to wake up on a friday!
I'm probably gonna back the project the same day since you can always change the amount any time during the campaign. Im excited to see the rewards, stretch goals, videos, gameplay, any sort of information. Amiibo Support Probability?

Edit: I find it interesting that this promo picture has small red squares on the rock texture of that floating island. In the actual screenshot of the game (which is just a work in progress), the squares are the same colour. I wonder if they've changed the design at all.

From what I've seen and heard in the past, stuff like that changes pretty constantly throughout the design process of a game. We're going to be fortunate enough to be able to look back once the game comes out and say "oh man, remember when X looked like ___ instead?"

I'm pretty sure the tune Grant Kirckhope finished a week or two ago will be in the Kickstarter video! And that really hypes the thing for me!

Surely the characters will final be revealed on May 1st! Im sure we'll also get our fist look at some game play! THE HYPE IS REAL! SPREAD THE WORD PEOPLE! I WANT THIS KICKSTARTER TO BE BACKED IN FULL! STRETCH GOALS AND EVERYTHING!
