Formal Bosses in Project Ukulele

Discussion and feedback for Playtonic's debut game, platformer adventure game Yooka-Laylee!

Would you prefer to have formal bosses in each level or bosses scattered throughout the game?

I'd like it to be the DK64 and Banjo-Tooie style.
You're too slow!

I usually hate bosses in video games in general, as I think they break the game pace in unnecessary ways. But I actually enjoyed the bosses in Banjo-Tooie, and I thought it was cool how with each level you could look forward to a boss following that world's theme (along with an awesome boss remix of the level's music :D), so if it were like the BT and DK64 style, I'd be fine with that.

I like to have some sort of "climax" to the level. So, I'd like a boss in each stage.

However, I'd prefer it done like Banjo-Tooie and not Donkey Kong 64. I'd like the boss to be organically in the stage, rather than accessed by a portal. Then again, if you can make it work similarly to Donkey Kong 64, but having a more organic arena without using portals, that would be fine, too.
