Here's a foe that's underrated,
Never named and but once stated,
One I've yet to mechanise
But soon I'll make this the next prize.
Elementary, my friend,
This, the cycle without end,
Everpresent in the land
With skills to help with it in hand.
Once it spoke to warn the fools
Who dared defy its endless rule,
And I laughed as lessons failed
And placed the treasure far from dales.
Creatures I did once enslave,
A trash compactor in his grave,
And soon the pair did realise
The clever dark behind my eyes.
So I ask you, what is it,
That challenges both form and wit?
What's the foe that kills so slow,
And leaves the bear and bird below?
Came to save my sister, stayed for the quiz show.
