On this most auspicious day,
I seek a man obsessed with play,
Whose talents lie not in his duty
But in skills that won him booty.
This fellow lay, shouted and sang,
And through the valley music rang,
But whensoever honour called
His gaze denied the ones enthralled.
Once the heroes had succeeded,
And I myself through force conceded,
Two years passed and he declined,
His health grew worse, and she resigned.
New inventions spurred him back,
Away from glory, gold to lack,
So now he sits, in half so blue,
And three and one must suffer, too.
This creature is the one I seek,
Who unwitting aided bear and beak,
And I'll give purpose, nice and snug
As I make him my new floor rug.
Came to save my sister, stayed for the quiz show.
