Am I the only one who thought that Jet Force Gemini was a masterpiece? Who else is with me!?

I've never played it properly; when I was younger I played it a couple of times and loved the atmosphere and characters, but I never understood the story except for "bad ants", "good teddies". I definitely need to replay it when I get the chance.

It was the first game Gavin Price tested at Rare. Perhaps he'll take some inspiration from it for Yooka-Laylee. Subtle inspiration of course; let's not turn a platformer into a shooter, heh...

Yeah, I love it. Surprised it hasn't seen another game on Xbox as well.

I mean Xbox has had a stereotype of being some space alien shooter box thing, and jet force Gemini is space aliens and has all sorts of guns and so on.

JFG was a great combination of a shooter, collectathon and adventure game.

I also loved the coöp mode, as you were able to play the main campaign with 2 players :)

The game offered a ton of secrets too!
