I played all of the DK Country games and enjoyed Goldeneye with friends who had an N64. Sadly, since I grew up with a Playstation, my experience ended there. I completely missed out on Conker's and Banjo and Donkey Kong 64.
Anyone else in my predicament? Growing up with only the 2D rare titles?

I did until I got my N64, well into the GameCube era. Until then, I just had the GBA releases of the DKC trilogy (plus Star Fox Adventures).

My first console was an N64, and Banjo Kazooie was the first game I got for it, so I'm pretty much in the opposite boat. Grew up with only their 3D titles.
(Okay, not entirely, I did have two of the Game Boy Donkey Kongs (1 and 3). I honestly can't remember if I was aware at the time that they were made by the same studio, though.
