Rare stepping up it's game

I know that Playtonic games and Rare ltd aren't really going to be competing directly, but do you think that in the spirit of friendly rivalry Rare might start stepping up it's game and create games that could be comparable to the magic that Playtonic is recreating?

I hope so. It's kind of interesting to think about that type of competition. Rare in the 90s had different teams working on different games and the Banjo Kazooie Camp's intense competition with the Conker Camp is what I think pushed both those franchises to the max.

It could only be a Good thing having more good games around. If people can afford it they should definitely consider buying an Xbox one IF Rare announces something great and none gimmicky.

I sure hope so. Whether it's a new BK game or... well, really anything that doesn't say "Kinect Sports" on it, I'd buy it.

Actually, it's incorrect.

= A contraction of "it is" (or "it has" when followed by a past participle).
= Third person singular neuter possessive pronoun (similar to "his" or "her," but for items that have no gender).
= Nothing. This word does not exist.

As a general rule, if the word can be replaced with "it is," it should have an apostrophe between the t and the s.

If the word cannot be replaced with "it is," it should not have an apostrophe.

At present, this thread title essentially reads "Rare stepping up it is game."

I suspect they'll both go their own ways with minimal impact on each other:

Playtonic started their own company to make the games they want to make.
Rare's job is to make the games Microsoft wants them to make.

Not if Playtonic Games become a highly successful company, and Rare Ltd goes following the same pattern as in their pre-Kinect era. Although, Microsoft will almost certainly disband the company if they make another flop or two.
