I'll watch some gameplay and reviess once it comes out, if it's unique enough I might get it. Right now it doesn't stand out as anything special.

Still, once it comes out, it can't hurt to try out the game on the Wii U (especially when Rainy Night Studios said that once it comes out in the first week, they'll be offering a discount price of $9.99; after that, it would be $13.99). People can't just judge the game because of some non-actual game footage videos.

OH! I haven't played the game. But I've seen a video of it.

Aside from the technical frame-rate hiccups that it has, the game runs more smoothly than I thought. It's more reminescent to Super Mario Galaxy in terms of environment. I don't know anything about its actual framerate.

Oh boy, it's out? Sweet, going to go buy it soon then.

EDIT: Opinion on the game:
It seems fun, and a good length vs. the price tag. It seems a little wonky in places, but it's fairly smooth. Some nice and huge worlds. Haven't played much yet, but one of the collectibles took me almost 30 minutes to procure, which is quite a bit. (but I was still learning my way around the world a bit. Still am, actually)
The wonky part is reminiscent of Flip's Twisted World, if anybody played that, but not nearly to the extent of that game.

Surprised this game has not had more attention, just purchased it and have to say I am very impressed. Sure it is not perfect but this is the kind of thing I was expecting to be released by the hat in time guys a couple of years ago! What does annoy me is how much the media plays a role in how popular these games are, for example Shovel Knight been given so much attention and had an IGN review yet this game has gone by unnoticed. Shovel Knight a great 2d platformer but takes more talent to make a game like FreezeMe, if this was really just one guy Playtonic should sign him up!

I've seen a bit of FreezeME. It looks alright and I love how colourful it is, but I'm not too fond of the main character, she looks very generic and uninspired and so does the rest of the game for that matter. The ground movement and jumping looks stiff and the main 'twist'; freezing various things (which was only demonstrated for about 10 seconds of the whole Steam trailer) isn't enough to make me want to play it. It seems to lack its own personality, instead copying a lot from other things (like Mario Galaxy). I love 3D platformers but it just looks boring.
Sorry, please forgive my cynicism and critical views, but first impressions are extremely important and to me I'm not impressed. Please tell me if there's anything else that's unique about it, because I'm not sold on it yet.
I may try it eventually, but not in a long time, by the looks of things.

you are spot on about the character very poor choice but as this is one guy i let that slide, the freezing of objects is genius

yeah you are spot on with all those comments, that said i really love Nintendo 3d platformers so not too fussed how unique it is as long as the gameplay is solid and fun which it is, the worlds are pretty large also for an indie game of this type. shame won't likely get any dlc and another 3 worlds would have been ace
