FALLOUT 4.

Postby Nanirourou » Mon Jun 15, 2015 5:18 am

Just watched the E3 livestream! It was so beautiful!!

And getting Fallout 4 in November!!! THAT'S 5 MONTHS AWAY!!!!
>brainexplode.exe

Who's excited? I can't wait to explore the wastes again. Fallout 3 and New Vegas were very memorable for me. Very few games get a day 1 purchase from me. This will be over of them.

(It'll at least hold me of until Y-L. ;) )

I've never played any of them and I prefer to start at the beginning.

Yeah, I kinda liked those games but never finished any of them. I hoped they would announce a new skyrim XD
Well, end this year I will have my new rig so I will probably play Fallout 4!

I plan to get it early on PC but not day one. Want to see how well its optimised and that lark. My PC would possibly struggle with specs so it might need a GPU upgrade. If Rare announce Goldeneye HD remaster or something of dimilar ibterest then I'll probably go down the Xbox One route.

Needless to say I am MORE than just hyped for this. I've been waiting far too long.
Will probably preorder it for PC. Let's see how much the Collectors Edition will cost, maybe I'll also get that. (If it's true and they will include a Real Life-Pipboy, I just HAVE to get that!)

Definite day 1 purchase for me.
Can't wait to sock a few hundred hours into it.

I'm super excited and love the new stuff! I was scared it was going to be like skyrim and cut out a ton of stuff in order to make it appeal to masses (there's literally no stats in skyrim or spellmaking among other stuff, wtf?). With Fallout 4 it looks like they've just ADDED more stuff and made it MORE complex with the modifications and what-not which is great for an rpg. That along with interviews that tell more perks are coming (which is a given, but when asked his favorite perk he could have in real life he said he almost slipped and said a new one which peaked my interest). And now the gunplay looks fast and fun. VATS is still there but now aiming and shooting looks faster and more fun while also having different types of enemies to blast (another thing that bugged me about skyrim. Seriously. Every freaking cave was either draugyr or spiders).

TL; DR
I am more pumped than ever for this game. I was scared they would try to 'mainstream' the game like Skyrim but if anything they made it more complex. Good job Bethesda!

I love the atmosphere of Fallout 3 & New Vegas, especially the former. Great 20s and 30s music. Will definitely be getting Fallout 4 as soon as I can :D

Since I can't use the Pip Boy app (Windows Phone owner here) I don't have enough other interest in the Pip Boy collector's edition to buy it.

I don't expect the regular edition to be at all hard to come by, and I'm not otherwise a huge-enough Fallout fan, so while I'll probably pick it up, it probably won't be day 1 and almost definitely won't be a preorder. (The open-world RPG premise interests me, as well as all the new equipment and town customization stuff for 4, I've just managed not to get hooked by the previous ones.)
No, not all Xbox owners are dudebros who love grey-and-brown PvP FPSes. Please feel free to quit stereotyping now.
