Ty the Tasmanian Tiger fans REJOICE!
Krome Studios said that the first Ty the Tasmanian Tiger game that came out for the Gamecube, PlayStation 2, and Xbox in 2002, is getting an HD remastered port for the PC, via Steam's Early Access programme.
I still have the PlayStation 2 copy of Ty and Ty 2 (but not Ty 3) and my working PlayStation 2 system, but I wouldn't mind playing the PC version either.
Here's hoping that Krome does an HD remaster to Ty 2 and Ty 3.
EDIT: Is it me or are 3D platformers slowly starting to make a resurgence in the gaming market this year? First FreezeMe for the WiiU, some rumors that Conker and Crash Bandicoot are coming back, Psychonauts 2 confirmed, and now this? What's next? Rare finally does something with Banjo-Kazooie? Somebody buys the Croc IP series from Jez San (former founder of the now-defunct Argonaut Games company) and makes a Kickstarter to reboot the game? The world may never know.
