Nice summary of why Tooie is so great there, WyvernWings.
And speaking of Mario Sunshine, I honestly love that game way more than Mario 64, which might sound blasphemous, but I honestly think that Sunshine ironed out the control scheme from the N64 predecessor to something that's really great to control, such as now sliding off walls for easier timing with wall jumps, the spin jump which you can reach insane distances it without using FLUDD if you're skilled, and of course FLUDD itself in my eyes felt like a great mechanic with the various modes, too bad the Rocket and Turbo modes were oftentimes more used for some gimmicky platforming/puzzles, but I can live with it.
The only things I didn't like is how near-obscure a good chunk of the blue coins are hidden, like good luck trying to find a bunch of them without resorting to a guide, seriously. And a few challenges like steering the boat using FLUDD's spray trajectory, the lilypad river mini-course of DEATH, and the 'I'M A CHUCKSTER' secret course in Pianta Village are so aggrivating!
