Good afternoon, everybody. My name is Juan. But you can call me by my username John Enigma if you want to.
I'm from San Juan.
If you must know why I started an account, along with this post, is because I love 3D platformer games. The first 3D platformer games I ever played, believe it or not, was Super Mario Sunshine. Ever since then I had a sudden fond of 3D platformer or 3D-platformer-related games.
I started an account here (well, first I suscribed here), because I'm rooting for these guys. They are willing to bring back the good ol' days of platformer games from the Nintendo 64 era. And what perfect timing, too.
Is been quite a while since we have gotten a decent game in this particular subgenre. Seriously. Nintendo hasn't made a Super Mario 64/Sunshine/Galaxy-related game. (Super Mario 3D Land/World doesn't count because of it's time limit. You don't get to do that much like in Super Mario 64 or Banjo Kazooie, except play the Captain Toad minigames, which don't have a time limit, but that's just it.) Naughty Dog sold the rights of Crash Bandicoot to another company, and that pissed me off a little bit. (That's why we haven't seen a good Crash game in a LOOOOOONG time.) There are no Spyro games like before. (Now is just Skylander's and is not the same. Besides, they look ugly.)
As I mentioned before, Super Mario Sunshine was the first 3D platformer game I ever played, meaning that the Nintendo GameCube was my first video game HOME console. My first video game console, per se, was the Nintendo Game Boy, with little games that I had. My bio father was the one that introduced me to gaming. I never had the Nintendo 64, and I never played Banjo Kazooie or any other Rare-related game (except for Donkey Kong Country 2 [or was it 3?] and an emulated version of Conker's Bad Fur Day [No links to where I got it, so, sorry.])
*Please don't hurt me if I haven't played Banjo Kazooie. I wish I could, really.
But seriously, I'm rooting these guys to see their game become a success in the really near future. (Despite the fact that I don't have a good modern computer to play games, or a Nintendo WiiU [in which there are rumors that Project Ukulele might come to the Nintendo Wii U after they release it for the PC first]).
