Uncaught exception every time I post

Postby dotEXE » Wed Apr 01, 2015 4:46 pm

Not sure if this is happening to everyone. Every time I post anything (comment/thread/whatever) I get a FATAL ERROR: Uncaught exception page.

Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Twig_Error_Loader' with message 'The "./language/de/email" directory does not exist.' in <whatever page you were on> ... blah blah blah more URL and code stuff ... Line 93.

The comments still post, it's just the redirect is failing and then you have to manually navigate back to forums.playtonicgames.com

Not only that, but if you refresh the page it tries to make a double post.

Odd. This doesn't happen to me and I use both my PC and phone to post. I live in England; maybe that has something to do with it? I'm not a tech guy, but I'll pass this complaint on to those who might be able to fix it.

Seems fixed for me now, it's odd that it's only just starting now for you.

This glitch happens to me about 40% of the time. I have no idea why. Is anyone else still getting this error?

Is that always "./language/de/email" ? For some reason it tries to access the German localisation, even though we don't have anything installed but UK English.
I'll try to remove the references to other language packs, maybe that fixes it.

This happens occasionally when posting on existing posts and constantly when making a new thread (leading to confusion and duplicate threads)

Was this post made right now, or is it older? Does it still happen?

It's about a couple of hours old. Hopefully all is fixed now; I'll make a few posts and get back to you if I encounter it again.

Edit: I'm not receiving the error any more. Thanks Jens!
