I never realised Kazooie was in Diddy Kong Racing!!

Afer going back and playing DKR for the first time in years, i decided to play as Banjo...

Now i was a little rusty so I kept banging into walls and stuff and Banjo reacts with different sounds... Until I here this one sound that I had heard before but never took much notice... its a 'Muffled' "Heeeeeyyy!" That doesnt sound like Banjo's voice... it sounds like Kazooie, and the fact that it is muffled basically re-instates that its coming from Banjo's backpack!

I must not be the only one who noticed this, I know ill feel pretty stupid if everyone replies "....sigh...yes we know" Haha

Go to 5:12 and listen when Diddy overtakes Banjo, usually you hear Banjo's 'Crash' sound... but instead you hear a 'aaayyyeee!'

That yell is actually Banjo's, you can hear it when you fall even after the characters split up in Banjo-Tooie.

The sound isn't coming from Diddy Kong it is coming from Banjo, you hear the same sound even when your in the hub world and you crash into a wall as Banjo, all of banjo's sounds sound similar except for this one which is completely different

I recorded myself playing as Banjo in the Hub world with music turned off, I crashed into a wall repeatedly to hear all the Banjo sounds and then also the infamous muffled 'aaayyyyeeee'...

But seriously, Rare was known for hiding easter eggs in their games, sometimes not so subtle ones (I'm looking at you DK2's Cranky's Video Game Heroes screen)

I wish I had the oportunity to ask the team themselves if it is actually Kazooie's voice, DKR came out in 97 and BK in 98... I think they would have been working on Banjo-Kazooie well into them working on DKR... So it is definitely possible that they could have put this small little easter egg in there
