5 Worlds if done right could be a lot of hours of fun. I trust playtonic, and just by looking at the stretchgoals I know it will be great.

It will have multiplayer areas, minigames, mine carts, and other fun stuff like the arcade machines, secrets that could take months to uncover, and plus they are expandable. So Im happy if its just 5 or 6 "worlds".

I believe at some point in the GameXplain video they talk about having AT LEAST 5 worlds. Also keep in mind that each world is uber expandable through the use of Pagies, so each world will have the potential to get VERY big.

There was also a recent interview where Gavin said he has been more interested in unique, 5-hour gaming experiences. I'm very excited for the game but frankly I'm afraid my first play through won't even take a single afternoon.

Totally managed to miss this one!

Game Informer's Ben Hanson, Tim Turi, Brian Shea, and Ben Reeves rank their top 5 personal favorite games for the Nintendo 64 before we interview the composer of Goldeneye and Banjo-Kazooie about the glory days of Rare and then talk comedy with the video team Mega64. Check out the timestamps below to jump to a particular section of the podcast.

New interview in ^^

Going beyond Banjo-Kazooie, will Yooka-Laylee find a publisher

Nostalgia is an interesting power in relation to the gaming industry these days. So much has been created and done in our industry that people have grown a strong fondness for brands and worlds we haven't seen in years. Nostalgia can be responsible for generating the re-ignition of a long lost franchise, but then again, so can passion and demand.
A little while back Playtonic Games fired up a Kickstarter to help garner further funding for their upcoming 3D platformer Yooka-Laylee. Set to be the spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie, Yooka-Laylee is looking to embrace many of the captivating elements the former delivered on the Nintendo 64 (N64), while continuing to push and evolve what a 3D platformer can be.

I havent checked the latest update yet, but please don't link to unoriginal sources anymore, they're redundant and mired in useless speculation.

I wasn't aware, which of my sources/articles are not original?
